• IUI

  Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a form of artificial insemination. It is a relatively simple procedure that enables conception by directing sperm into the uterus. In this process, a thin tube is placed directly into the cervix, and a carefully-prepared sperm sample is injected directly through the catheter into the uterus.

  When is IUI recommended?

  • Experiencing ovulation problems
  • Unable to have timed intercourse
  • Timed intercourse is unsuccessful
  • The male has been diagnosed with mild infertility
• IVF

  IVF means in vitro fertilization, or commonly known as “test-tube baby”, because the woman’s eggs and the man’s sperm are fertilized in a Petri dish. During the IVF process, a patient’s natural cycle is carefully handled through the use of fertility medications. These medications stimulate the ovaries to produce a number of mature eggs. At the right time, the eggs are retrieved from the ovaries. At this time, the male supplies a sperm sample. The eggs and sperm are placed in a Petri dish to fertilize before the embryos are transferred into the woman’s uterus.
